The Drawbacks in Nigeria's Politics-Bamanga Tukur former PDP national chairman

At the residence of former PDP Chairman,Bamanga Tukur this morning after strongly refusing our interview, finally aired his view on the Nigerian government. He pointed out that Nigeria needs a political atmosphere and less of ''much a do'' than currently present in the country to achieve good success all round. He was of the view that if so many cooks steer the brook it will not be tasty enough to be eaten and that over delegation of functions diffuses the precision and reduces the tempo at which this delegated function are being carried out.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      He noted that Nigeria isn't experiencing anarchy today because it guarded by laws enacted in the federal constitution which must be strictly adhered to according to who the law refers to but out our greedy leaders act at their will and choice not minding if the later of the law contradicts theirs.Surely the law never goes wrong.

''So many Nigerians are ill-informed about the culture of the Nigerian Politics.they arenot aware of the fact that so many of so called individuals representing them at either the senate or house of representative are greedy men. They place more priority on their bank accounts than the people they represent. As a matter of fact I was privilege to be in a conversation with who used to be a family friend but is now an enemy because i have decided to speak the truth. He divulged how they bought Naira notes extremely lesser than their value with the full awareness and consent of the then CBN governor Sanusi Lamido.''

The former National Chairman of the peoples democratic party(PDP) has threatened to expose any public servant found wanting of any form of bribery, irrespective of the person position or recognition.Adding that the problem of corruption in Nigeria has to be treated dispassionately and quickly,as he further commended the efforts of President Mohammadu Buhari, for being more professional than emotional in meting out due punishment to offenders.

"...,Nigeria is a country founded on wisdom and
sacrifice, that's why we need leaders who are wise
and humane so that they can key into the vision
our foundingfathers had in mind for this country
             before her creation."

He was also of the view that we have betrayed the good and bad part of our history,
and it's probably the reason why many Nigerian leaders have handled their various positions foolishly, forgetting that Nigeria isn't built on folly or created out of accident.Rather,Nigeria is acountry founded on wisdom and sacrifice, that's why we need leaders who are wise and humane so that they can key into the vision our foundingfathers had in mind for this country before her creation.
