NLC drops employment rate statistics

The Nigerian labour congress which was created in 1978 consisting of roughly 4,000,000 members made out of four major trade unions,NTUC,LUF,UIC and NWC and is officially located at federal capital territory,Abuja,Nigeria.

 The congress is currently headed by President Abdulwahed Omar and a general secretary Chris Uyot who told banana press yesterday that nigeria has the highest amount of skilled labour in west africa and about the highest rate of unemployment in sub-saharan africa.

*  Doctors 70%  - - - - - - - - - - - -62%
*  Bankers 82% - - - - - - - - - - -  75%
*  Teachers 50% - - - - - - - - - - - 38%
*  Legal personnels 65% - - - - - 58%

Mr chris also added that the disparity is very high taking the statistics from the four major skilled professions around  the world and that this impending problem may stick around until there is a:
*Reduction in the general retirement age.
*High level job networking.
*Reduction in the commercialisation of industries
*Collosal expansion of the labour market.
